For Authors

Thank you for considering the Malaysian Online Journal of Educational Technology (MOJET) as a venue for your scholarly work. Authors are encouraged to carefully review the journal's policies and submission guidelines before submitting their manuscripts.

Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the journal's formatting and style requirements. Submissions that do not comply with the prescribed format may be returned to the authors for technical revision prior to peer review.

To facilitate the review and publication process, authors are strongly advised to use the official MOJET manuscript template when preparing their submissions.

Authors may also consult recently published articles in MOJET as examples of formatting, style, and organization.

Submission Requirements

Before submission, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript falls within the scope of the journal.
  • The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All identifying information has been removed from the manuscript file to ensure a double blind review process.
  • References, tables, figures, and appendices are prepared according to the journal guidelines.
  • Ethical approval and informed consent statements are included when applicable.

Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double blind peer review process. Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, methodological quality, scholarly contribution, clarity of presentation, and relevance to educational technology research and practice.

Publication Ethics

MOJET adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics standards and follows the principles established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are expected to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and research ethics throughout the submission and publication process.
