Aims and Scope

The Malaysian Online Journal of Educational Technology (MOJET) is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in educational technology and technology enhanced learning.

The journal publishes original empirical studies, systematic reviews, meta analyses, theoretical papers, methodological contributions, and innovative practice reports that explore the design, implementation, evaluation, and impact of technology in educational settings.

MOJET aims to promote scholarly dialogue among researchers, educators, instructional designers, policymakers, and practitioners by disseminating high quality research that contributes to the improvement of teaching, learning, assessment, and educational innovation through technology.

The journal welcomes qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods, experimental, longitudinal, design based, and interdisciplinary research conducted across diverse educational contexts and learner populations.

Out of Scope

The journal generally does not consider manuscripts that:

  • Focus solely on disciplinary teaching without a substantial technology component.
  • Present local program evaluations with limited scholarly contribution.
  • Describe software or instructional materials without empirical evaluation.
  • Address general educational issues unrelated to educational technology or digital learning.

MOJET seeks manuscripts that provide meaningful theoretical, methodological, or practical contributions to the understanding and advancement of educational technology in diverse educational contexts worldwide.
